Station metadata is synchronized from the public Radio Browser API and broadcaster-provided endpoints.

Method
A daily background task collects Radio Browser records and normalizes identifiers, countries, languages, topics, stream addresses, codecs, bitrates, official links, icons, and upstream check times. The public site reads a local snapshot so page requests do not depend on the upstream API.
Limitations
Radio Browser and broadcaster metadata can be incomplete, incorrectly classified, or outdated. An upstream check time records the source directory check, not a playback guarantee. HTTP-only streams remain directory records but are not offered for browser playback.
